
Rahel H. Alazar
Rahel Alazar is an associate attorney at Winer, Burritt, Scott & Jacobs, LLP, where she focuses on advocating for individuals who have been wronged, with an emphasis on employment law, sexual harassment, sexual abuse, and civil rights litigation.
Rahel’s legal journey has been diverse and rewarding. She worked as a judicial clerk, served as corporate counsel, and interned at Algolia Inc., where she gained hands-on experience in corporate and transactional law. These roles have given her a well-rounded perspective on the law, allowing her to approach each case with both strategic insight and empathy.
Rahel earned her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in Eritrea in 2018 and went on to receive her Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of California, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) in 2024.
Outside of legal work, Rahel is deeply committed to community service. She been involved with the African Advocacy Network in San Francisco since August 2022 and has worked with various organizations advocating for women’s rights. These experiences have reinforced her passion for standing up for those whose voices often go unheard, which ultimately inspired her transition into litigation.
Fluent in English, Tigrigna, and Amharic, Rahel takes pride in serving a diverse range of clients. Her goal is to guide each client through the legal process with clarity and compassion, ensuring they feel heard and represented every step of the way.
