Plaintiff, a woman in her mid 70’s, and her daughter brought an elder abuse case against a nursing home in which the plaintiff was a patient for approximately 15 months. While in the nursing home, the plaintiff developed significant bedsores, which incapacitated plaintiff.The law offices of Winer, Burritt & Scott, LLP, was able to establish that the nursing home committed extreme neglect that constituted elder abuse.
